"Terror Grows"

Films: Invasion of the Pod People (1978)

Alias: Various

Type: Alien

Location: Eldritch Location/Civilized area

Height/Weight: That of large suitcases (at first).

Affiliation: Neutral, leaning on Evil

Summary: Remember when a group of pods from space came to replace the human race with a bunch of emotionless shells? Well, it's happening again, but on a much grander scale.

History: In order to escape their dying planet, this nomadic group of pods drifted to Earth, where they grew immediately accustomed. Of course, as per the usual, these pods wanted to replace all of mankind with carbon copies that lack any form of personality and/or individuality. They would prey on sleeping folk and take their bodies for their own.

Notable Kills: Those they copy crumble into dust.

Final Fate: The invasion happens much quicker than anticipated, as the pods have almost complete control over the land’s populace by the time the day's over.

Powers/Abilities: Can assimilate and copy the form of those they want when they sleep.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4.5-These pods spread like wildfire, and the way they produce fake humans is just disgusting. Oh, and then there's that unholy scream they emit when enemies are afoot.

Trivia: According to some, this film is actually a stealth sequel to the original film. This is supported by the collections of pods being transported and the screaming old man warning everyone.

-One night after this film was released, someone scattered fake pods all across L.A., leading to a rather silly panic.

The world of Pandora is looking more unappealing.

Such a pretty anatomy. Wait, why would a plant need to replicate that to the letter?

At least, they don't look like edible zuchinnis anymore.

The secret origin of the Gray Aliens.
You know what? Somebody send Dogora to end our misery.

They saw fit to replace the street lamps with ugly looking trees.

Why does this exist? What event caused the director to lose his mind?
Hey, who's side are you on?
